Section: Orders
Overview:
The Orders section provides a centralized view for managing all customer purchases made through the store. It displays a detailed list of each order, allowing admins to track and process transactions efficiently. For every order, key information is shown—including the customer’s name, phone number, delivery address, items ordered, total price, payment method (e.g., PayPal, M-Pesa, COD), and the current status of the order (e.g., Pending, Shipped, Completed).
This section allows you to monitor order flow in real-time, identify new purchases, verify payment completion, and ensure prompt fulfillment. Admins can also update order statuses as they progress through the fulfillment stages, helping maintain accurate records and informing customers of their order progress.
Effective use of the Orders dashboard improves operational efficiency, enhances customer satisfaction, and provides valuable insight into buying patterns and product demand.
How to Use:
- Navigate to the Orders section from the admin sidebar.
- View the list of orders with columns for customer information, delivery location, cart items, total price, payment method, order date, and current status.
- Use the Change Status dropdown to update the status of each order (e.g., from Pending to Shipped or Completed).
- Click the Download Orders CSV button to export the entire orders list for record-keeping or analysis.
