Overview:

The Categories section allows you to group products into organized collections, making it easier for customers to navigate your store and find what they’re looking for. Categories serve as the backbone of your storefront’s structure, improving user experience by reducing clutter and guiding shoppers to relevant items more efficiently.

You can create main categories to represent broad product types (e.g., Electronics, Fashion, Home Appliances), and add subcategories by nesting them under a parent category (e.g., Electronics > Laptops > Gaming Laptops). This hierarchical structure helps streamline product discovery and allows you to present a clean, intuitive catalog.

By using well-organized categories, you also enhance SEO performance, making your products more discoverable through search engines. Additionally, categories can be used for promotional filtering, featured collections, and flash sales, offering greater control over how products are displayed and marketed.

Whether your catalog has 10 products or 10,000, the Categories panel ensures it stays organized, scalable, and customer-friendly.

How to Use:

Navigate to the Categories section from the admin sidebar.

Click Add New Category to create a new category.

Enter the Category Name (e.g., Phones, Shoes, Electronics).

If needed, assign a parent category to create a subcategory.

Click Add category to add the category to your store.

How to Delete a Category:

Navigate to the Categories list.

Locate the category you want to remove.
Click the Delete icon or button next to the category name
Confirm deletion when prompted
